Missouri Agribusiness Association (MO-AG)

The Missouri Agribusiness Association (MO-AG) is a trade association whose members include companies that manufacture and distribute fertilizer products as well as retailers who advise their producer customers as to the proper use of fertilizer products.  MO-AG supports research and innovation in the area of nutrient stewardship as well as implementation of nutrient best management practices (BMPs).  Specifically, MO-AG supports the 4Rs and the 4R approach to nutrient stewardship.  The 4R process helps the fertilizer industry and producers further refine nutrient stewardship BMPs.

MO-AG actively engages the regulatory community and represents the fertilizer industry in the development of nutrient runoff policy and regulation.  The 4Rs provides visibility and helps deliver the message that nutrient stewardship improves agricultural productivity while reducing crop nutrient losses to the environment.  Environmental stewardship is important to the agricultural community and it is important that the agricultural community be able to demonstrate environmental stewardship in measurable ways.
